Dear Alumni,
Hello everyone…I hope this letter finds you & your family happy and healthy. I can hardly believe this will be our 57th celebration of the Eufaula High School Reunion. This year, we wanted to try something fun and new…We have selected a theme not only for our decorations but for a Costume Contest. We will have an old time Rock~n~Roll theme. You can dress up as your favorite singer or actor…. As cheesy as this may sound…it will be a blast from the past AND Prizes will be awarded for the top three participants!!!!! The more the merrier, so start planning for your costume now! Just FYI, costumes are not mandatory, only if you want to participate in the contest. And, just wearing mask will not get you a prize.
Once again our venue will be the VFW Lodge here in Eufaula. Cecil and his staff at the VFW have graciously taken care of us for five years. This has worked out great for all of us. This year, the VFW will be providing our banquet dinner.
I sincerely hope that all of you will attend and enjoy all of festivities that we have planned for you this year. Below is a tentative schedule of the Alumni Weekend Events:

9:30 am Pep Assembly, E.H.S. Auditorium
1:00 pm Homecoming Parade, Downtown
6:30 pm EHS Homecoming Coronation, Ironhead Stadium
7:30 pm Homecoming Football Game, Ironhead Stadium
Saturday, October 03, 2009
10:00 am – 11:30 am Social/Coffee, E.H.S Cafeteria
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Banquet, VFW Banquet Hall
9:00 pm – 1:00 am Dance, VFW Banquet Hall
The doors will open at 5:30 pm at the VFW. A professional photographer will be on hand to take individual or group photos for our event. The photos will be available for purchase through them. You will complete the order sheet and payment is expected at that time. They will accept cash or personal check. The orders for your photos will be processed when your check clears your bank. You may have the photos mailed to you for an additional fee or you may pick up your photo at the McIntosh County DHS office from Renee Duke.
It is DUES time….We would like to say Thank You! for all of those who have sent in your dues. We really appreciate it. If you haven’t paid the $5.00 dues, you can mail them in or pay at the door when arrive to the Banquet/Dance. This allows the Alumni to function from year to year, allowing you to come back home each year. Again, this year we opted to not send out dues postcards, hoping that we could save the cost of the card and postage as every little bit saved …counts.
The Honor Year classes will be those ending in “9”. I know there are several individuals who are planning BIG for marked years. If you are one of these groups, be sure to contact me, so that we can direct any inquires to the appropriate location. We want to make sure we have adequate seating for your group.
Each year we have had the good fortune of having fellow alumni Clark and Teresa (Downum) Davis provide us with a variety of dance music. The Latter Rain Production show provides us with music ranging from 50’s to present day hits. We will have a variety of entertainment during and after dinner. In the lounge, we will be providing Karaoke. So start practicing now!!! A cash bar will be available for your convenience.
As every year, we are limited on space. If you are interested in attending, please be sure to purchase tickets early and in advance. This helps us assure you a seat and the food count for our caterer. This year, as I mentioned, the VFW will be providing us with our wonderful meal.

We always get excited every year, anticipating who will be here…we just have so much fun. You never know who might show up and surprise us all. We all look forward to seeing you there!
